Lucy Snell

Lucy Snell is known throughout the Southern Maryland and Metro Washington, DC area as a dynamic flutist and flute teacher. Students from her Waldorf flute studio regularly earn positions in honor bands and solo competitions on the local, state and national level. Her students also regularly earn scholarships from college music departments across the region. One of her students, upon completing her college music audition, received the highest recommendation of any woodwind player from the music faculty, and earned their top award—a full tuition scholarship for four years! Ms. Snell is the founder of The Flute Choir of Southern Maryland, a flute choir for adults, and Flute Magic! Flute Camp for flutists ages 8 – 18 in La Plata.
